The story of our red roses is one of dignity, respect, honour, and memories. It all starts at the beginning when a loved one is being brought into care when a red rose is placed with them. This symbol of care remains with a loved one throughout their care journey, accompanying them to their final resting place. We then at the service ask the next of kin if they would like the rose to remain with the loved one or indeed take back with them, as that flower has accompanied the loved one whilst in our care, or if they would like us to attached to our rose memorial wall in our chapel of rest.
You may notice all our vehicles carry a red rose on the dash and are a constant feature in our funeral home. All in memory of “The Lady In Red” – My Mum, Amy who passed over twenty years ago but never forgotten.
