Q: What’s The Difference? I’m sure you have seen companies advertising £1,195 – £1,895 for a unattended cremations also known as a direct cremation recently, either on facebook, T.V or in the media.
Some are locally based but are managed by investment managers looking to portray as independent, local and family run whilst others are much larger national companies who cast just like a trawlerman the widest net to catch the most fish in the sea. This approach with its high marketing cost means they have to streamline as its called the options, choices and at times levels of respect or standards in care for loved ones to keep operating costs as low as possible, to keep those shareholders happy.
With us its the reverse, I came into the industry to make a difference, not a fortune or build a company to be sold at a later date to the highest bidder.
Of coarse every company needs to make a profit to survive, but honesty, integrity, respect and care for those in my care will always come first and foremost in everything me and my team do.
That’s why whilst others may have now taken the decision to lower the price that they have previous charged there own clients to match ours, or in most cases continue to charge hundreds of pounds more for more restrictive choices, they will never match our standards of care, dignity, value, cooperation or respect for those in need of this type of service on this East Coast.
Challenging the status quo in the industry, to raise standards in care.
Best always, Mark
